Eric
Wostenberg hails from Denver, Colorado where
he spent much of his youth making action
movies in his backyard with water pistols
and fireworks. Inspired by the early films
of Sam Raimi and Michael Bay, Eric
discovered that his passion was to be behind
the camera and make movies.
Persuaded by his parents to ground himself
in a strong liberal arts education before
pursing filmmaking, Eric attended Gonzaga
University and received a B.A. In history.
At Gonzaga, Eric also was a four-year
varsity rower and in his senior year, he was
named to the 1999 PAC-10 All Conference
Team.
Immediately upon graduation, Eric applied to
the USC School of Cinema- Television and had
the great fortune of being accepted to the
prestigious program. Since then, Eric has
directed and produced numerous short films.
Sacrifice, his graduate thesis film, is a
culmination of everything that he has
learned at USC.
Nowadays, in addition to pursuing film, Eric
spends his spare time training for marathons
and triathlons. It is his goal to complete
an Ironman Triathlon by Spring 2005.
He currently resides in Venice, California. |
