We are saddened that The Caucus Foundation must now close its doors.

Twenty-six years ago, Chuck Fries (1928-2021), the Godfather of Television Movies, was instrumental in creating The Caucus Foundation for Producers, Writers & Directors (The Caucus Foundation) which has given over $2 million in Grants, In-Kind Donations, Internships and TV Awards to help College and University students complete their work and help them begin their careers in film and television.

The Foundation was dedicated to provide Scholarship Support, Financial Grants and Mentoring for a diverse group of talented students to help them build their futures in all forms of content creation. This program intended to combat the lack of diversity in content and creative people in the entertainment industry. Over its 26 years, The Caucus Foundation has provided financial assistance and mentoring guidance to over 185 students as they begin their film, television and media careers.
